Blizzard Black Pearl 97 (2022)
DescriptionThis is a pre-order product. ETA late May 2021
If you want to reach the broadest ends on both spectrums of all mountain skiing, the Blizzard Black Pearl 97 will have all bases covered. Whether you're thinking deep powder or icy groomers, this ski doesn't have any qualms. Blizzard's revolutionary TrueBlend Flipcore changes what's possible in the skis core. By running different types of wood stringers both lengthwise and widthwise, they have tuned each zone in the ski to flex stiffer or softer based on specific performance needs. This is topped off with Carbon Flipcore W.S.D, a women's specific laminate that gives the ski strength and dampening without extra weight. The rocker profile in the tip has been toned down and the radius has been shortened for a more responsive feel on firm snow. When the snow does start to stack up, the Black Pearl 97 still has the same strong freeride feel that's always been envied. For the women that have big demands in their skiing, this ski delivers in an equally large way.

Carbon Flipcore W.S.D
Uni-directional carbon layer integrated into a light sandwich construction to ensure lightness, stability, smooth ex and torsional rigidity.
Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.
New TrueBlend Flipcore utilizes different wood stringers in certain zones of the ski allowing the flex to be precisely tuned stiffer or softer for the best result in any conditions.
Sandwich Compound Sidewall
Full sidewalls guarantee energy transmission, stability and control and provide torsional rigidity enhancing the performance of the ski. Sidewall provides constant pressure along the full length of the ski.
